Bringing benefits to communities with
impactful projects.
Our solar projects produce more than just renewable energy. Together with communities, Pivot helps deliver affordable and reliable local power, increase energy autonomy, and provide local economic benefits. By forging partnerships with organizations, graziers, and farmers, we empower communities to spearhead impact nationwide.

OUR APPROACH
Achieve your energy goals faster with our impactful development philosophy.
Reliable, Affordable Power
Organizations can meet their energy procurement goals by utilizing forward-looking solutions that pair solar with storage for reliable and affordable power. Our team tracks hourly emissions data, utilizes strategic project siting to maximize avoided emissions, and delivers energy storage solutions with the option for 24/7 dispatchability.
Native Plant Establishment
Land partners can be confident that preserving agricultural land character is a priority we share. One hundred percent of qualified project sites employ dual-use practices, including onsite livestock grazing, pollinator habitat creation, native plant enhancement, and crop production. We emphasize holistic land stewardship practices, from development to dispatch to decommissioning.
Community
The benefits of solar projects ripple out into the local communities, creating new jobs, increasing energy independence, and providing access to affordable energy. With multiple opportunities for community input and frequent touchpoints with local nonprofits and educational institutions, our dedicated community engagement team uplifts local voices and solutions throughout the development process.
OUR INITIATIVES IN ACTION
Renewable energy projects contribute to local economic growth and provide a long-term reliable, affordable power supply. We design projects with maximum community benefits in mind, and Pivot is proud to be at the forefront of investing in U.S.-made solar panels and other domestically produced components.
Local & Diverse Contractors
We seek local subcontractors representing diverse backgrounds to increase participation in a thriving industry.

Land Stewardship
The land beneath our solar arrays is seeded with native plants and grasses, reinvigorating the habitat for pollinators and animal species. Plus, our network of local graziers deploy grazing animals to manage ongoing vegetation growth and bolster soil health, with the flexibility to add beekeeping and crop production on site.

Focus on Low-Cost Energy Choice
Electricity ratepayers should have access to the most affordable electricity possible and autonomy over their energy options. We prioritize increasing energy bill savings for low-income community solar subscribers, ensuring no one is left behind.

Local Economic Development
Landowners and local governments alike benefit from the stability and long-term revenue produced by solar projects. The tax dollars fund schools, police, first responders, roads, and other infrastructure improvements.

Local Investment, Local Growth.
Commitment to Community Investment
Driving growth and success in communities across the nation.
Community organizations lead the way in providing needed services and support. That’s why we invest in local organizations for every project built. We are proud to support a broad network of regional and local partners who work to reduce energy burden, introduce students and prospective workers to the renewable energy industry, and strengthen rural agricultural communities.

LONG-LASTING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
We work hand in hand with local organizations that understand community needs to provide tangible support to drive impact where it’s needed most.
