Pivot Energy has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work finalists by the Denver Business Journal. Pivot Energy was selected under the “small” size category and is the only solar company to make the list in any of the categories.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized for this achievement by the Denver Business Journal,” said Rick Hunter, CEO of Pivot Energy. “Our employees are what makes Pivot Energy such a great workplace. They uphold our company values every day, creating meaningful connections not only with our clients, but with each other.”

The annual award recognizes companies with the best workplaces in the Denver metro area who are changing the business landscape while providing a healthy environment for their employees.

In order to be nominated, candidates must go through a two-fold nomination and survey process. This process includes an employee engagement survey from each company to get a true reflection of the business fundamentals and environment of each company. The key engagement categories for the survey include team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation, and benefits.

Mr. Hunter added, “Our goal is to achieve balance between people, planet, and profit. That balance serves as a key component of our company culture; our employees have fully embraced it, and we believe it to be one of the secrets to our success.”

The award by the Denver Business Journal comes after Pivot Energy was recently named the 2019 Community Solar Project of the Year for their Garfield County Housing Authority community solar garden.
