The Board of Directors for Gunnison County Electric Association (GCEA) recently approved funding for two solar projects that will be developed by Pivot Energy. These projects will enable GCEA to save money on electricity procurement while supporting local clean energy projects. The first project site is east of Gunnison and will be 675 kWdc. The second project site is south of Crested Butte and will be in the 400-700 kWdc range. Construction is slated for Summer 2019.
