Yesterday, Pivot Energy partnered with local B Corps to volunteer at The Growhaus in Denver, Colorado. The GrowHaus is an indoor farm, marketplace, and educational center in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Their mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood-based food system by serving as a hub for food distribution, production, education, and economic development. Together, we helped prepare a nutritious meal with fresh, healthy food salvaged from restaurants and markets across Denver that local community members enjoy for free. As a certified B Corp, we have a commitment to making a positive impact in our community and had a great time learning about the importance of easy access to healthy food.
